Objection handling help while the objection is still live.
“It’s too expensive.” “We already use someone else.” “Send me something and I’ll take a look.” Saley is an AI sales assistant that hears the pushback, drafts a move from your own Playbook, and puts it on an overlay the prospect cannot see — then scores how you handled it after you hang up.
The short version
What AI objection handling actually means.
Software follows the conversation, recognises the pushback, and answers it — while there is still a call to save.
Hear it
Saley listens to both sides on two separate audio channels, so the objection is attributed to the prospect rather than fished out of one merged track later. Call recording
Answer it
An objection card appears on the always-on overlay with a suggested next move, plus the painpoints Saley has detected so far in the conversation. Real-time sales coaching
Get better at it
Objection Handling is one of the five scored dimensions in the post-call review, each with a written reason. AI feedback
During the call
A specific answer the moment the pushback lands.
The always-on coaching overlay floats over the call and stays click-through: a recording timer, a live YOU/THEM talk-ratio bar, detected painpoints with a suggested response, and an objection card with a suggested next move. It does not show a transcript, because reading one mid-call is how you stop listening.
When the card is not enough, Live Assist sits at the bottom of the screen with four quick actions — Next question, Catch up 60s, Summarize so far, and Action items — and Ask Saley for a free-text question about the objection you just heard.
Both windows request native macOS capture protection. Share the meeting window rather than the whole display and verify it in your call app first. How live coaching works
Don’t email pricing cold. Ask what outcome they’d measure, then book the next call to walk it through.
Your rebuttals, not generic ones
The answer comes out of your Playbook.
Generic objection advice — “isolate the objection”, “feel, felt, found” — is worth nothing at second 40 of a discovery call. Saley answers from the Playbook you set up once: value props, pricing, ICP, competitors, your call goal, and your own objection to response pairs.
Eligible uploaded files stay indexed too, so Ask Saley and Next question can pull supporting material from the original document — PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, PNG, and JPEG among them — and cite the filename with a page number when one is returned.

After the call
A score for the objections you actually got.
Stopping the call shows the best available immediate recap, up to three takeaways, and detected action items while the full review finishes. The detailed review adds an overall 0–100 score across Discovery, Qualification, Value Delivery, Objection Handling, and Next Steps — each with a written reason — plus BANT coverage with transcript evidence when the review returns it.
Because the review is scored against your Playbook, “you handled the objection badly” becomes “you never got to the ROI figure you listed as your answer to price.” Post-call scoring

Where Saley sits
Everyone sells “real time”. The difference is who it is for.
Each description below is the vendor’s own public positioning, sourced underneath and checked on August 18, 2026.
Live sales assistants
Convo markets an AI sales assistant that coaches reps live on calls, naming objection handling and deal signals. Same moment in the call; Saley is a Mac app for one seller, priced on the page rather than through a sales cycle.
Notetakers going live
Fireflies added Live Assist for real-time suggestions, coaching, and answers during meetings, on top of a meeting-notes product. Saley starts from the seller’s call rather than from the record of the meeting. Saley vs Fireflies
Revenue platforms
Clari Copilot describes live battlecards so reps can respond to objections and pivot the conversation, inside a platform bought by the revenue organization. Saley is bought by the person on the call. Saley vs Gong

Objection handling FAQ
What people ask about live objection handling
What is AI objection handling?
AI objection handling means software listens to the sales call, notices when the prospect pushes back on price, timing, competitors, or authority, and offers a response while the conversation is still open. Saley detects the objection during the call and surfaces a suggested move on an overlay only you can see, drawn from the objection and response pairs in your own Playbook rather than a generic script.
Where do Saley's objection responses come from?
From your Playbook — the value props, pricing, ICP, competitors, and objection to response pairs you set up once. Ask Saley and Next question can also retrieve eligible uploaded files such as PDFs and DOCX documents, and show the filename and page number when the retrieval returns one. If retrieval is unavailable, Saley falls back to the Playbook rather than blocking Live Assist.
Can the prospect see the objection help on my screen?
Saley requests native macOS capture protection for both the always-on overlay and the Live Assist window. For the safest result, share the meeting or presentation window rather than your entire display, and verify the behavior in your call application before you present.
Does live objection coaching work on Zoom, Meet, and Teams?
Yes. Saley captures your microphone and your Mac's system audio as two separate channels instead of joining as a meeting bot, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, softphones, and any browser call you can hear on the Mac. There is no meeting-platform integration to connect.
How do I know whether my objection handling is improving?
Objection Handling is one of the five dimensions in Saley's post-call review, alongside Discovery, Qualification, Value Delivery, and Next Steps. Each dimension comes with a written reason and rolls into an overall 0 to 100 score, so this week's call is comparable with last week's.
